Key Excel MVP Web Sites
These are the top Excel web sites we know of for people who have
ever been Excel MVPs.
At last count, there were 64 Excel MVPs. Most of these people do not
maintain web sites with extensive Excel help written in English. The following Excel
MVPs are the exception.
Microsoft can drop MVPs for reasons that have nothing to do with the
quality of their web sites or their work. Therefore, this page will list
top Excel web sites for anyone who has ever been an Excel MVP.
Write us to recommend additional Excel MVP sites.
Charley Kyd,
ExcelUser.com
I might as well begin with myself. Based in the Seattle area, I earned
my MBA from the University of Washington. I worked as the CFO for a
variety of small companies, then moved into consulting. I've written
four books about spreadsheets and about 50 articles and columns for
national magazines about finance or spreadsheets. I accept occasional
consulting projects, primarily about Excel dashboard reporting.

articles and reviews for InfoWorld, PC World, PC/Computing, Windows, and
other magazines that no longer exist. His site offers extensive Excel tutorials.

palettes, conditional formatting, event macros, Excel newsgroups, response
time considerations, generating HTML, lists of functions and subroutines,
shortcuts, menus/toolbars, etc.
Rob Bovey
Rob was one of the early Excel gurus. He's been an Excel MVP since 1995. He specializes
financial, accounting, and Executive Information Systems, using Microsoft Office, Visual Basic, and SQL Server. In addition to tips, his web site offers his widely used (and free!)

consulting projects. His two sites for
Office Automation and Office
Automation contain many examples of his work, including tools
and utilities to extend Excel's functionality, and many examples of Excel
development techniques. (Why two sites? The first one was hijacked by a
Russian porn site for several years, and he's just got it back.)

the world, using Excel and Excel VBA. His Excel articles discuss topics
